WebbTMZ was made fresh per injection by dissolving 5 mg/ml TMZ in 0.9% normal saline, sonicating for 30 minutes in a 35°C water bath, then filter sterilizing. Control animals received an injection of a 0.9% saline vehicle solution. All animals received the same number of i.p. injections at approximately the same time.
