Web14 sep. 2024 · There is a seemingly very simple question regarding Unity that I have been wanting to ask. In Unity (I use it for Hololens programming, but I suppose it is the same for other purposes), you have prefabs that you can use to put in your scene. Or you could create an object for example an empty object, a plane, a text etc. WebTo create a prefab, you simply have to drag the desired GameObject from your scene hierarchy into the project Assets. Now, to instantiate a GameObject, we call the Instantiate () method in our script. This method, defined in MonoBehaviour, takes in a GameObject as a parameter, so it knows which GameObject to create/duplicate.
